Lindsay Hite of www.showyourspark.com was named one of the top 30 Rising Stars in wedding photography by Rangefinder Magazine, and named in the Top 100 Wedding Photographers in the US by Brandsmash.

She started her business in 2009 and focused on wedding photography.

Fast forward to 2016; she wanted to slowly start a transition into boudoir photography and pivot away from only shooting weddings.

She launched the Show Your Spark in 2018 and opened her newly renovated studio early the following year.

She says this change of direction truly allowed her to survive and thrive throughout the Coronavirus shutdowns, fostering her private Facebook community of over 1500 women, and she's been busy since reopening.

She just sold her photo booth brand, and is working on launching a new Headshot brand as part of her business.

In this interview, Lindsay shares in detail, how to successfully transition to a profitable and thriving boudoir photography business.

I am really passionate about calling it women's empowerment because I think that people deserve to feel confident in the boudoir, the bedroom but also in the boardroom, on the street, in the classroom, in the gym, wherever she is needing that confidence boost and needing to remember her power and her strength. I want her to feel it there. – Lindsay Hite

Firstly, it's confirmation that I'm on the right track with the interviews and that they really are helping you improve your photography business. That's awesome!

Secondly, iTunes is the biggest search engine when it comes to podcasts and it's your reviews and ratings that help other photographers find PhotoBizX. More listeners mean more interviews and ultimately a better show.

If you haven't and you'd like to, head to https://photobizx.com/itunes and you can leave some honest feedback and a rating which will help both me and the show and I'll be sure to thank you on the show and add a link to your website or blog if you let me know the URL of your website and your name.

When you're wearing different hats and people know you from different aspects of your life, there's definitely people who value the experience that you're offering more than others. – Lindsay Hite
