Marc and Brenda Bergreen of www.bergreenphotography.com are a husband and wife team specialising in outdoor wedding photography and other adventures. After quitting their engineering day jobs in 2011 and 2014, both Brenda and Marc were full-time photographers. After choosing the life they wanted, they built a photography business to achieve and fit their dreams.
The Bergreen photography catch cry… “Love. Adventurously.”
I love how on their about page, they say… “We didn’t want to have one last adventure; we wanted our life and our love to be an adventure.”
In 2016, true to their business and photography vision, they moved from California to Colorado and had to rebuild their business from scratch. They are now pursuing their dream and and making it a reality from their mountain home in Evergreen, Colorado. In this interview, they share how they've done what they have, the reasoning behind their decisions, their wins, losses and big lessons.
Here’s some more of what we cover in the interview:

In general, we don’t really push sales. We feel like if we spend our energy booking other work, that will benefit us more than focusing on something that we’re not strong at which is in person sales. – Marc Bergreen

iTunes Reviews and Shout-outs
Each week I check for any new iTunes reviews and it's always a buzz to receive these… for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, it's confirmation that I'm on the right track with the interviews and that they really are helping you improve your photography business. That's awesome!
Secondly, iTunes is the biggest search engine when it comes to podcasts and it's your reviews and ratings that help other photographers find PhotoBizX. More listeners means more interviews and ultimately a better show.
If you have left a review in the past, thank you!
If you haven't and you'd like to, head to https://photobizx.com/itunes and you can leave some honest feedback and a rating which will help both me and the show and I'll be sure to thank you on the show and add a link to your website or blog if you let me know the URL of your website and your name.
Alternatively, if you've left a review for PhotoBizX and are looking for more backlinks to help your SEO, leave a review for the new Photography Xperiment Podcast and email me your key words or keyword phrase and where you'd like me to link to.

Only great and valuable information!

Andy is absolutely fantastic!
His interviews are the best I have ever listened to. Why? He knows how to make the most of it!
All his questions are really well-thought and interesting. Some of them are tricky ones and the speaker should be creative to answer them. Andy suggests different situations and problems you can face during work so it is really useful to listen to a solution.
All the interviews are long enough to develop a theme and clarify details. It is very comfortable to listen to them. All aspects of photographing are described in his podcasts.
Thank you a lot for really concrete and helpful information!
Love Monday’s!

Thank you!
Thanks again for listening and thanks to Marc and Brenda for coming on and sharing so much about their business, booking and sales process and how they are building the wedding photography business of their dreams with their perfect clients.
Taking pictures of couples is not that hard because I don’t have to tell them to look happy. They’re gonna look into each others eyes, think about that wedding day and they’re gonna be happy. And so, if we can also connect with them while they’re connecting with each other, it really makes our job a lot more fun and a lot easier. – Marc Bergreen
