Ron Oren and Yotam Gil of ImagenAI are two of three guys behind this new artificial intelligent photo editing software which I'm sure will become part of the domestic photographer's workflow sooner rather than later.

I'd heard about Artificial Intelligent photo culling and editing sometime last year – there was some interesting chatter about it in Facebooks groups, but I hadn't heard much since then.

Then recently, I was in an email exchange with US-based photographer Zoe Larkin, who has embraced this technology and has recorded tutorials on her YouTube channel here and here.

She told me the app she is using, ImagenAI, does the image editing outside of LR using a profile it has on you, then you download those edits to your LR catalogue.

I asked Zoe to come on the podcast, but the timing wasn't great, but she did say…

This technology is here to stay and will have a huge impact on our industry. And it's all happening right now. Exciting!

Following that exchange, I've been able to get some time with the app's founders, and I'm rapt to share this interview.

The marketing blurb about ImagenAI describes it as AI-powered photo edit software that captures your editing style DNA and creates unique profiles that can instantly be applied to Lightroom projects.

Here's some more of what we cover in the interview:

Firstly, it's confirmation that I'm on the right track with the interviews and that they really are helping you improve your photography business. That's awesome!

Secondly, iTunes is the biggest search engine when it comes to podcasts and it's your reviews and ratings that help other photographers find PhotoBizX. More listeners mean more interviews and ultimately a better show.

If you haven't and you'd like to, head to https://photobizx.com/itunes and you can leave some honest feedback and a rating which will help both me and the show and I'll be sure to thank you on the show and add a link to your website or blog if you let me know the URL of your website and your name.

Alternatively, if you've left a review for PhotoBizX and are looking for more backlinks to help your SEO, leave a review for the new Photography Xperiment Podcast and email me your keywords or keyword phrase and where you'd like me to link to.

★★★★★ This podcast helped me do $30,000 in one month!

In Apple Podcasts by Orange County photographer, Kristin Karkoska  from the United States on May 4, 2021

I am a photo education junky and love to continue to learn and grow in my business. I am so grateful to have discovered this amazing podcast that is all about real working photographer and what they are doing to grow their business.

It can be a lonely business being self-employed but with PhotoBizX I feel like I am part of a community.

I joined the premium membership and it is the best education money I have spent in my business.

By implementing the things I have learned on the podcast I have the best April ever (doing over $30,000 in sales in one month).

Thank you so much Andrew!

Don't make the same mistake I did with this great interview.

By Dundee newborn photographer, Ally Stuart of Mabel and Moose Photography in the UK on May 5th, 2021.

I listened to the non-premium interview!! I couldn't believe how much great content that I missed out on.

Don't get me wrong, Andrew lets you listen to quite a bit on the free one but it's nothing compared to the full-fat edition.

I've been a Premium member of PhotoBizX (worth its weight in gold) for a few years now. I'm used to hearing the unabridged version. I made the mistake of tuning into the free one and realised just how much extra I was getting as a PhotoBizX member.

Honestly, if you haven't signed up for the trial to listen to all the great content you are really missing out.

Thanks Kristin for such an upbeat chat. I have so many takeaways to implement in my business.

Thank you!

Thanks again for listening and thanks to Ron and Yotam for coming on to share their thoughts, ideas and experience on utilising AI to help photographers massively reduce their editing times.

You don't have to cull or really cherry-pick every image. Actually, the opposite is what we're looking for. The more versatile, the better for the AI to learn. – Ron Oren
