I believe in giving product – Ana Brandt
If you have any questions that I missed, a specific question you’d like to ask Ana or if you just want to say thanks for coming on the show, feel free to add them below.
20% Off at Ana's Brandt's Online Shop – TAoPaN
During the interview, there was plenty of talk about Ana's online community and store – The Art of Pregnancy and Newborn (TAoPaN).
Ana has kindly offered you the coupon code photobiz to receive 20% off anything from the store: www.shoptaopan.com
You'll find all sorts of goodies including posing guides, posing and photography accessories, clothing, all kinds of ready to use digital products for your marketing and promotion plus loads more.
One product that caught my eye was a downloadable sign asking clients to leave the photography to you, the photographer. Perfectly fitting after last weeks episode and my dramas with clients taking photos during sessions.
iTunes Reviews and Shout-outs
Each week I check for any new iTunes reviews and it's always a buzz to receive these… for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, it's confirmation that I'm on the right track with the interviews and that they really are helping you improve your photography business. That's awesome!
Secondly, iTunes is the biggest search engine when it comes to podcasts and it's your reviews and ratings that help other photographers find PhotoBizX. More listeners means more interviews and ultimately a better show.
If you have left a review in the past, thank you!
If you haven't and you'd like to, head to https://photobizx.com/itunes and you can leave some honest feedback and a rating which will help both me and the show and I'll be sure to thank you on the show and add a link to your website or blog if you let me know the URL and your real name.

Existing premium members, feel free to cancel your existing subscription and sign up for the special price if that suits you. Instructions on cancelling your membership can be found here: https://photobizx.com/premium-membership-cancel
New Facebook Group for Premium Members
The new Facebook Group for Premium members has kicked off and is going amazingly well. The camaraderie, help, support, questions and answers have been overwhelmingly good.
I think the successor of the group has a lot to do with everyone's common interest to build a better photography business and the fact everyone is at a different level means the range of topics and help really has been exceptional.
Members will have noticed more and more interview guests have been joining and participating in the discussions which just adds another level of value completely.
Having the Group as part of the Premium Membership has just added a whole new level of value – I love that!
In the last couple episodes, I've mentioned productivity and asked if you had any tips, ideas or software you could recommend to help.
A couple weeks ago, Jared Lindsay of Jared Lindsay Photography in Texas let me know about a new service he's signed up for from Adobe called – Send For Signature.
The program allows you to send anything you need signed over the internet, signed by the client and returned. It's simple, it's cheap at around $25 per year and I'll be using it right away for my wedding agreement/contract which in the past had to be posted by the client so we had the original signed contract and not a copy – a legal requirement.
Here's a link to the service – https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/products/send-for-signature.html
If you're a photographer living outside the USA, you may need to speak to Adobe customer support to make the service available to you.
Links to people, places and things mentioned in this episode:
Send For Signature – have your documents signed online
Upwork – for hiring contractors online (previously glance.com and desk.com)
Thank you again for listening to the show and thanks to Ana for sharing so much about her newborn photography business and making the 20% off promo code available to all of us.
