Chris Scott of www.flauntwhatyougot.com and www.swiftgalleries.com was a full-time wedding and boudoir photographer with his wife Adrienne for eight years until founding Preveal, an iPad app for portrait photographers. A few years ago, Preveal gave way to Swift Galleries, a wall art sales tool for pro photographers. In this interview, Chris shares fantastic ideas, strategies and tips on how to improve your sales, price your photography correctly and generally run a better, more successful portrait photography business.
Some of the most asked questions by photographers is how much should I be charging, how do I know if my prices are right, how do I sell more wall art and ultimately, make more money as a photographer. I put all of these big questions to Chris who goes into detail on each, breaking them down into understandable, actionable chinks. It should be no surprise at how easy he shows this can all be – not only was he doing it with his business, today, Chris and Adrienne's main focus is on business solutions for photographers. This guy knows his stuff.

iTunes Reviews and Shout-outs
Each week I check for any new iTunes reviews and it's always a buzz to receive these… for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, it's confirmation that I'm on the right track with the interviews and that they really are helping you improve your photography business. That's awesome!
Secondly, iTunes is the biggest search engine when it comes to podcasts and it's your reviews and ratings that help other photographers find PhotoBizX. More listeners means more interviews and ultimately a better show.
If you have left a review in the past, thank you!
If you haven't and you'd like to, head to https://photobizx.com/itunes and you can leave some honest feedback and a rating which will help both me and the show and I'll be sure to thank you on the show and add a link to your website or blog if you let me know the URL of your website and your name.
Alternatively, if you've left a review for PhotoBizX and are looking for more backlinks to help your SEO, leave a review for the new Photography Xperiment Podcast and email me your key words or keyword phrase and where you'd like me to link to.

Key Moments
I recently heard about a new service being offered by Sydney wedding videographer, Dave Cowling of DnM wedding Films – Key Moments. Key Moments is a new concept offering wedding video as a wholesale product to be offered through photographers and venues.
The idea is as a photographer, you don't lose potential clients looking to hire a videographer along with their photographer, if video isn't something you offer. In addition, this is a way to offer another service, generate more income and service your clients more effectively.
The product/service is a wholesale deal that is not available to brides and grooms directly. It's available to photographers and venues only.
The completed video can carry your branding and is designed to be simple and seamless for you, the photographer.
Our aim is to make booking video as easy as checking a box on your price-list – Dave Cowling
You can hear more from Dave in todays episode and learn more here: www.keymoments.com.au

New online photography magazine – PHOTO Live
Enthusiast and experienced photographer Rob Jenkins has just launched a new online photography magazine for photographers on the platform Issuu. It's free and packed full of interviews, articles and great photography.
You'll find it here: https://photobizx.com/photolive
The magazine is beautifully laid out, easy to read and I'm sure there is something for every photographer!
