iTunes Reviews and Shout-outs
Each week I check for any new iTunes reviews and it's always a buzz to receive these… for a couple reasons. Firstly it's confirmation that I'm on the right track with the interviews and that they really are helping listeners to improve their business. That's awesome!
Secondly, iTunes is the biggest search engine when it comes to podcasts and it's your reviews and ratings that help other photographers find the PhotoBizX show. More listeners means more interviews and ultimately a better show.
If you have left a review in the past, thank you!
If you haven't and you'd like to, head to https://photobizx.com/itunes and you can leave some honest feedback and a rating which will help both me and the show and I'll be sure to thank you on the show and add a link to your site like I have with Angie below.

This review has been a long time coming!
I've been listening to the podcast now (as a premium member) for several months and the learning curve has been huge!
At a minimum, I get exposed to someones unique business and experiences, successes and failures which I think is hugely generous of the guests and also reassuring as sometimes you can feel very alone when you are starting/running your own small business.
But much more commonly, there is a “take away” that speaks directly to me, which i have either instigated into my business or have written down to keep in mind for later.
Andrew is a very genuine and honest host who goes that extra mile for the listeners of his podcast. I look forward to each new episode on Mondays!!
Thanks Andrew 🙂
New Website and Branding
I've been talking about my new website for Impact Images for a few months now and have finally taken delivery of the site and branding from Nikki and Shannon of Gimme That It.
In this episode, I discuss the procedure of building a new site and brand from start to finish. The costs, the time, what was involved and expected of me and was it all worth it.
I also share some big cost saving ideas if you don't have the budget to for the bells and whistles of a “done for you” service.

It was absolutely my pleasure Sandra!
A big thanks to listener Paul Pennell for suggesting the great hashtag – I’m looking forward to using it everywhere.
I just read your blog post too… so sorry to hear about your father but love where you are at now. 🙂
[…] to write a little personal blogpost today. After doing what I thought was a pretty scary and honest interview today with the super cool Andrew Hellmich from https://photobizx.com that you can listen too […]
This was a fantastic interview!
That’s what i needed,
Sandra’s business model is excellent,
It was so nice to hear that she was still so positive after a little failure with a fashion industry in Milan, she did not like it and she pursued her plans – a very positive message.
Her work is awesome, very dreamy like and bright.
It is always so good to see that the photographer has its own style and do not flow through other trends.
My business model is very similar and i quit my daily job recently by the same way…
Sandra, it is great to see your collaboration with Jannie Baltzer,
This brand suits your shooting style very much and it is also nice to hear that you are booking similar clients based on that cooperation.
P.S your shoot in Vogue Japan… simply amazing! Love it!
Thanks Gregory… isn’t Sandra a delight.
A truly beautiful person with a bunch of talent and a kind heart, no wonder people are drawn to her and she’s a success.
Wow, you quit your job the same way! How long ago and how is it working out?
Thank you so much Gregory.. What an amazing comment.. made me smile!!! 🙂
YAY…
My collaboration with Jannie Baltzer has brought so many amazing things and I do strongly believe that together we are stronger. What started out as one shoot with Jannie turned into a strong collaboration a Vogue shoot and great friendship.. We need to stay openminded and yes not follow trends.. Follow your inner artist and heart.. and I think you can never go wrong!
Exciting times ahead for you.. Wishing you the very best of luck!!
That was a great interview with Sandra, its so reassuring that both Sandra and you Andrew have little moments of self doubts when looking at other photographers work. Its nice to know that others feel as mortal as I do at times.
I really believe in working with local suppliers and designers, and even though you might get a lot of cold shoulders, in the end when you do find like minded people who share in your vision and can even add to it, the results can be fantastic. We tried that last year with a shoot and the results and response were amazing.
Looking over Sandras site and the way she uses light is simply amazing,
Sandras accent made me want to go back to Copenhagen too for another visit, thanks guys.
Thank you so much @Paul Duane for the sweet words. 🙂 Happy you enjoyed the interview.. and yes we are all only human! Go get the designers and have fun with it.. 🙂 And do come visit Copenhagen!!! ::) YAY… HUGS Sandra
Thanks Paul and yes, self doubt is definitely part of my make up – I think it comes part and parcel with any photographer or creative although I was surprised to hear Sandra she feels the same at times. Looks like theres no escaping it.
So good to hear about your networking results with local suppliers. Making friends and working with local vendors can be so rewarding. I found the same when interviewing many of my local vendors for my blog – new friends and relationships were made with people I’d been working around for years.
I’ve never visited Copenhagen but after seeing some of Sandra’s photos on Instagram, I’d love to get there some time – looks gorgeous. Agreed too, Sandra’s work is beautiful!
