Making the top package a no-brainer for his clients
Nick started refining his new strategy and making it an absolute no brainer for his clients wanting to take the top package – all the digital files.
He was messing with their minds now. Not only with his new sales formula, but on the shoots.
He worked out how shooting to sell played into the sales process. He discovered if he took the right combination of photos at the shoot, it was almost a no-contest, he could bank on a $1015 sale.
This was too easy.
He was shooting and selling and shooting and selling… it was a dream come true. Finally!
It's been that way since.
No wonder he's so happy now.
He has a great job, a big beautiful family who he gets to spend time with and he has a substantial second income from photography which he loves.
The beauty of what Nick discovered and put into place is; any photographer can use this method. No matter your prices.
If you're starting out, you take the formula and insert your lower prices.
If you're well established and charge more, you input your top package price and lead your clients there.
And BTW, he also includes prints when families order. There are more details about this when Nick lays down how all this works for you.

Although Nick is selling digital files, he loves prints as much as every photographer so his clients get these too!
Too good to be true?
Yeah, it sounds too good to be true, I know. I thought the same when I first started talking to Nick about his strategy. I ended up interviewing him about the entire process from start to finish.
I put his Triple Package Elevator Formula to the test and sure enough, it's working for me too. The only difference… I use Stripe for payments, not PayPal.
Talking to Nick, he's excited to be making more money for less work. He's also adamant his approach isn't a lazy way to do things. He's still working hard to get the shots for his clients and deliver a great experience.
“It's not lazy,” he told me, “but it's a smarter way to make sales and do business.”
In my case, I still use IPS in my studio.
Photography is my full time job so it just makes sense to sell in person for me. But… I occasionally have clients who can't make an IPS session or their partner/spouse can't – which usually means the sales appointment is destined for failure. In these cases, I use Nick's method to sell digital files and lead clients to my top package.
I also have clients who are visiting my area (I live in the sea side suburb of Terrigal) and may only be staying here for a few days. They book a shoot but only want to purchase online when they get home – no trouble, I use Nick's Triple Package Elevator Formula.
In the past, I used to travel to country towns and spend a week at a time photographing families and kids. I wish I'd known about Nick's method then – it would have made life and shooting while travelling so much easier! No crazy editing schedules or having to stay in town longer than I wanted, so I can work around the family for a sales appointment.
Since interviewing Nick and discovering his method, I convinced him to create a step by step guide so you can implement the same formula into your business. If you’re happy to unfollow the crowd.
That guide became what is now The Online Sales Masterclass
Give it a try if you’re looking for a different way to do business. Not following the crowd could be a great way to go for you too.
Two years on…
I asked Nick if things have changed since he started using his Triple Package Elevator Formula?
His face lit up and he told me… “Things couldn't be better. I get plenty of time with my four kids – time to help them with their homework, get to the beach and just have plenty of quality family time.”
I asked him, “Can you be more specific, how much time do you really save with your process?”
He laid it out… “Following a shoot, I spend 2 hrs editing, followed by another 20 minutes of exporting and uploading to my online gallery.”
“After that, I have scripts and automations for everything else. I email and message my clients and I can pretty much bank on a PayPal notification in two days time. It still amazes me how well this works.“
“Plus, I've got more money to help with expenses and to be able to enjoy the things that I do.”
“Like what?” I asked… “What's the last thing you bought for yourself with the extra money from your photography?”
Nick laughed and said, “Don't judge me, I'm not a gear junkie but I just bought two new Sony A7RIII’s.”
We both laughed at that.
What about after dinner and the kids are in bed, is it back to photography work?
Nick replied, “It would be if I was doing IPS, but for me, I hit the couch, put my feet up and relax with Hayley. That’s our part of the day together.“
One thing is certain…
