Jill thank you thank you thank you! This is exactly what I wanted to hear! It’s so nice to hear someone with answers other than “just stop procrastinating!” you have identified the problem and came up with a solution. I use reminders on my phone for my “projects” but I think using it for my 2 min fixs is a much better idea and maybe evernote for my projects.
Thank you again so much Jill!
Great interview Jill and Andrew! I have started off this year by limiting myself to 8 hours a day of productive work. Breaking the day into a handful of achievable tasks and only allocating half the days time allocation to it is genius! I can’t believe how productive I have been so far and I have regained that sense of knocking off from work at the end of the day. Thanks!
So good to read your new approach to the year and what Jill suggested is already working so well for your Jerome.
I’ve started using the 2min quick jobs and love it!
The first thing I did this morning after listening to Jill was re-write my daily list. Instead of update wedding client questionnaire & send to XX, I changed it to – research new ideas for wedding questionnaire. I gave myself 40 minutes & set the timer on my phone. This gave me instant breathing space. Then this afternoon- I entered a new time block for the actual updating of the form. Breaking it into two steps with ample time to complete it to a high standard has not left me feeling under the pump as usual 🙂
That’s awesome Tracy! I love, love, love, when I know listeners are implementing what they hear and even bester to know they’re having success as a result. So good to read your comments, thanks.
Great interview. Funny how much I was feeling 100% concerned! thanks for the tips.
Thanks Anais 🙂
Great listen, I am about to go through it again. I was driving and really need to hear it again. I have the hardest time calling clients for returning of messages and pick ups. I have people for that! Unfortunately she isn’t always here. Wish me luck!
Hope the 2nd time round the ideas sink in. 🙂
Good luck with calls!
