Art Streiber of www.artstreiber.com is someone whose work you’ve almost definitely seen… even if you didn’t realise it.
He’s a Los Angeles–based photographer who’s worked with names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, and Brad Pitt — with his images regularly featured in Vanity Fair and The Hollywood Reporter.
But what interests me isn’t just the names.
It’s the level of trust and responsibility that comes with shoots like these — big productions, tight timelines… and no room to miss.
I’ve heard Art talk about having a “the answer is yes” mindset — where the job isn’t to push back on what’s possible, but to figure out how to make it happen.
And when you think about it, that’s not just photography… that’s positioning, reputation, and how you show up as a business.
So in this conversation, I want to dig into what’s really going on behind the scenes — and what it takes to build a photography business where you’re the person clients trust when the stakes are high.
In this interview, Art shares what it really takes to handle high-pressure shoots, how he balances creativity with client expectations, and why being easy to trust is often more valuable than being the most creative photographer in the room.

Thank you!
Huge thanks to Art for coming on and sharing so openly.
What stood out for me… this isn’t really about creativity.
It’s about responsibility.
Being the person who can handle the pressure, solve the problems, and make sure everything comes together when it matters.
Because at that level, clients aren’t hiring you for your style.
They’re hiring you because they trust you.
And that’s a different game altogether.
Curious what stood out for you in this one — and whether it’s changed how you’re thinking about your role on a shoot.
There is no sitting back and waiting for the phone to ring… you’re constantly reminding people you exist. — Art Streiber
That’s it for me this week; I hope everything is going well for you in life and business!
Thanks for listening—speak soon,
Andrew
