Adii Pienaar of www.adii.me is a serial entrepreneur in every sense of the term. He is a former founder of WooThemes, sold reportedly for over 30 million dollars and more recently sold his latest startup for more millions of dollars.

He's also a family man, dad and writer.

In his most recent book, Life Profitability, he says he almost lost everything while chasing his entrepreneurial success.

Which is part of the reason he wrote the book… to provide a new perspective for becoming self-aware, recognising your values and understanding your impact.

He says it's possible to have a business that supports your lifestyle, not only a life to support your business.

When setting up this interview, I asked if he feels what he has to share would be relevant to photographers who mostly have small businesses and will never make a million dollars but do what they do for the love of being creative and using photography to support a lifestyle?

The answer was a resounding YES; my book is perfect for photographers in business.

Secondly, iTunes is the biggest search engine when it comes to podcasts and it's your reviews and ratings that help other photographers find PhotoBizX. More listeners mean more interviews and ultimately a better show.

Thank you!

Thanks again for listening and thanks to Adii for coming on to share his thoughts, ideas and experience on what it's like to go from having an all-consuming business to the detriment of everything else in life to completely turning things around to the point where he has a business to supports a lifestyle.

If you are able to nurture and invest in all those other places in your life (apart from work), you are likely a better entrepreneur, business owner, practitioner. – Adii Pienaar
