iTunes Reviews and Shout-outs
Each week I check for any new iTunes reviews and it's always a buzz to receive these… for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, it's confirmation that I'm on the right track with the interviews and that they really are helping you improve your photography business. That's awesome!
Secondly, iTunes is the biggest search engine when it comes to podcasts and it's your reviews and ratings that help other photographers find PhotoBizX. More listeners mean more interviews and ultimately a better show.
If you have left a review in the past, thank you!
If you haven't and you'd like to, head to https://photobizx.com/itunes and you can leave some honest feedback and a rating which will help both me and the show and I'll be sure to thank you on the show and add a link to your website or blog if you let me know the URL of your website and your name.
Alternatively, if you've left a review for PhotoBizX and are looking for more backlinks to help your SEO, leave a review for the new Photography Xperiment Podcast and email me your keywords or keyword phrase and where you'd like me to link to.
Another great way to get a backlink to your site is to send a video testimonial like Broome wedding photographer, Nik Buttigieg did. It doesn't need to be fancy and your phone will be perfect. Click record and tell me how PhotoBizX has made a difference to you and your photography business.

Best Investment For My Business
In iTunes by Cincinnati family photographers, April Sova of Remember When Portraits in the USA on November 2, 2018
I found PhotoBizX by accident one day while browsing photography business podcasts on my iPhone. I listened to a few free ones and realized how much good content was available, but that I was missing even more.
With the low cost to begin a premium membership, I tried it and was instantly hooked!
Between the amount of previous yet relevant content, the Facebook group and the online show notes and additional courses available, I literally spend every day in my downtime (driving, editing) filling my mind with podcasts.
Already in a month’s time since implementing ideas from PhotoBizX, I have generated more bookings and more revenue than I have in months. This month may truly be my best business month since I started over 3 years ago!
I highly recommend anyone on the fence to try out the premium membership.
It is so worth it!

A Must Listen
In iTunes by Philip Warren who shoots wedding photography in South Wales from the UK on October 30, 2018
I'm not usually one for leaving reviews, in fact, this is the only podcast review I've made.
I had to leave a glowing 5-star review for Andrew and the PhotoBizX podcast. Super informative, light enough listening that's it's easily digested. Incredible business tips from industry leaders and up and coming business owners from a wide range of backgrounds.
This podcast, and now my Premium Membership, has helped me grow my business to where it can support myself and my young family full time.
Thank you, Andrew. Keep up the great work.
Phil.
Bringing still images to life by adding movement
In addition to the main interview for today's episode, I had a chance to interview Troy Plota about his tools to add movement to digital still images.
Troy travelled the world shooting fashion, lifestyle and celebrities for international advertising agencies and publications. He also appeared on the Next Top Model as a guest Photographer and has been shooting professionally for over 30 years.
His advertising work has appeared on dozens of billboards in New York’s Times Square, as well as on the Vegas strip.
He was invited to do a Ted Talks on “THE FUTURE OF PHOTOGRAPHY” after innovated the 3D Photograph.
You would have seen these images where a still image is brought to life by adding a moving element or elements within the frame.
If you're at all lost or unsure, check the GIF below to see exactly what I'm talking about.

Clients are going to spend more money if they value what you do. For them to value it, you've really got to give them value, show them value and make them feel good about themselves. – Anna Hardy

Thank you!
Thanks again for listening and big thanks to Anna for sharing her thoughts on business, attracting more clients, making better bookings and generally running a terrific portrait photography business.
A proper branding process isn’t about what colors you want or what fonts you like. It’s exploring who you are, why you do what you do, what you’re offering to your clients, what difference you can make to them, what you stand for. – Anna Hardy
