Kirk Mastin of www.mastinlabs.com published a blog post about inbound marketing for photographers that had me taking action and contacting him for this interview. I interviewed Kirk for episode 94 of the podcast and it was one of the most well received. The immediate response from listeners was to get him back on the show! The inbound marketing blog post was the catalyst.
Kirk is a Seattle based photographer labelled a ‘hybrid shooter' but dedicated to film photography in a market saturated with digital images. He's the man behind the Mastin Labs presets that make digital images look like they were shot on film.
And, he's recently moved into the app market with FilmBorn which I'm sure we'll chat about in addition to the blog post that had me emailing him.
This interview will be perfect for you if you're looking to capitalise on the traffic you already have to your website and want to make serious inroads to converting those visitors into actual photography clients. Kirk's ‘master plan' to make this happen revolves around email, auto responders, sequences, automation and providing the best possible and personal attention to your target clients – all automated. Once you get something like this set up, you just need to keep feeding website visitors in.
Here’s some more of what we cover in the interview:

iTunes Reviews and Shout-outs
Each week I check for any new iTunes reviews and it's always a buzz to receive these… for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, it's confirmation that I'm on the right track with the interviews and that they really are helping you improve your photography business. That's awesome!
Secondly, iTunes is the biggest search engine when it comes to podcasts and it's your reviews and ratings that help other photographers find PhotoBizX. More listeners means more interviews and ultimately a better show.
If you have left a review in the past, thank you!
If you haven't and you'd like to, head to https://photobizx.com/itunes and you can leave some honest feedback and a rating which will help both me and the show and I'll be sure to thank you on the show and add a link to your website or blog if you let me know the URL of your website and your name.
Alternatively, if you've left a review for PhotoBizX and are looking for more backlinks to help your SEO, leave a review for the new Photography Xperiment Podcast and email me your key words or keyword phrase and where you'd like me to link to.

In iTunes by Donnell Crear who shoots wedding photography in Greenville SC USA on February 4, 2018
Andrew's podcast is in a league of its own. The information he has in his interviews is game changing in terms of jump starting your own photography business.
The catalog of back episodes is so immense it's hard to find a single topic that doesn't have at least one episode devoted to it.
Andrew is also a class act guy and has personally taken time out of his busy schedule to make sure my premium membership was setup correctly and to even do a Skype call with me to discuss how to make some of the learnings from previous episodes yield the best results for me in my current business situation.
You need to figure out what isn't you and you need to cut it out of your business. – Kirk Mastin
