Jenna Christina of jennachristina.com is a newborn and family photographer based in San Francisco Bay Area, who specializes in newborn, baby and family photo sessions in the home. Her photography style is documentary, she features a lot of black and white imagery and her big message to clients is “Real is more interesting than perfect.”
Jenna openly tells clients she cannot guarantee any specific photos but promises photography they will treasure. She also tells parents, you may be the one footing the bill, but your kids are my primary client.
What attracted me to Jenna in the first place and what led to this interview was her emails after subscribing to her list. Her approach to emails was more like a skilled internet marketer than a photographer in regards to consistency, storytelling and non-salesy messages that had me thinking about photography and my family with every new delivery into my inbox.
In this interview, discover Jenna's email strategy in detail and just how she's been able to build a successful photography business shooting in the style and with the approach she wants. Learn how you can use email marketing in your business that's focused on your prospective clients to generate more bookings and sales.

iTunes Reviews and Shout-outs
Each week I check for any new iTunes reviews and it's always a buzz to receive these… for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, it's confirmation that I'm on the right track with the interviews and that they really are helping you improve your photography business. That's awesome!
Secondly, iTunes is the biggest search engine when it comes to podcasts and it's your reviews and ratings that help other photographers find PhotoBizX. More listeners means more interviews and ultimately a better show.
If you have left a review in the past, thank you!
If you haven't and you'd like to, head to https://photobizx.com/itunes and you can leave some honest feedback and a rating which will help both me and the show and I'll be sure to thank you on the show and add a link to your website or blog if you let me know the URL of your website and your name.
Alternatively, if you've left a review for PhotoBizX and are looking for more backlinks to help your SEO, leave a review for the new Photography Xperiment Podcast and email me your key words or keyword phrase and where you'd like me to link to.

Thank you so much for having me on your podcast – it’s so hard to listen to myself (YIKES!) but I’m so excited about all the support and positive feedback in the Fb group <3
Hey Jenna – it was absolutely my pleasure! Haha, that’s totally normal to find your own voice cringe worthy. 🙂
What you shared in the interview was just fantastic and going by the conversation in the members FB Group – everyone who’s heard you fells the same!
I started listening to this while in my car….and quickly realized that I was going to need to take some notes and saved it until I got home. Thanks for another insightful interview!
