Ivan Mana of www.amarketingessentials.com was interviewed for episode 306 of the podcast where he dived deep into a step by step tutorial on how to set up your first Google AdWords campaign. In this interview, Ivan shares why photographers should be utilising pay-per-click advertising with Microsoft ads, previously Bing Ads.
I originally discovered Ivan on YouTube when doing some research for Facebook Ads. I loved his energy, his knowledge and the way he broke down complicated strategies in easy to understand step by step instructions.
Ivan also explained WHY he was suggesting to do the things he was teaching.
As we were wrapping up our last interview, Ivan asked how photographers are doing with advertising on Bing?
My reply was… I don't know anyone using Bing at all.
Ivan mentioned that Bing is an under-appreciated resource that can also be super profitable and functions 99% like Google.
And that's why I asked to have him back on the podcast for this episode – to learn more about Microsoft Ads for photographers.
Here’s some more of what we cover in the interview:

iTunes Reviews and Shout-outs
Each week I check for any new iTunes reviews and it's always a buzz to receive these… for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, it's confirmation that I'm on the right track with the interviews and that they really are helping you improve your photography business. That's awesome!
Secondly, iTunes is the biggest search engine when it comes to podcasts and it's your reviews and ratings that help other photographers find PhotoBizX. More listeners mean more interviews and ultimately a better show.
If you have left a review in the past, thank you! If you haven't and you'd like to, head to https://photobizx.com/itunes and you can leave some honest feedback and a rating which will help both me and the show and I'll be sure to thank you on the show and add a link to your website or blog if you let me know the URL of your website and your name.
Alternatively, if you've left a review for PhotoBizX and are looking for more backlinks to help your SEO, leave a review for the new Photography Xperiment Podcast and email me your keywords or keyword phrase and where you'd like me to link to.
Another great way to get a backlink to your site is to send a video testimonial. It doesn't need to be fancy and your phone will be perfect. Click record and tell me how PhotoBizX has made a difference to you and your photography business.

Most tactical podcast out there for photographers
★★★★★ in Apple Podcasts by South Jersey Wedding Photographer, Gen Palmer from the United States of America on September 16, 2019
Andrew delivers interviews with highly successful international professionals, who share highly tactical guidance and advice on building a successful and sustainable photography business.
There's very little fluff here – so much so that you'll find yourself running out of time to implement all the amazing techniques being shared.
After 6 months of listening to the free version, I decided to try Premium and it's worth the small price (multiple times over!).
Andrew thank you for delivering highly relevant, actionable content and keeping things positive and real!
The needle in the haystack
★★★★★ in Apple Podcasts by Geelong Pet Photographer, Steven Penman from Australia on September 10, 2019
There are endless podcasts out there covering business, marketing and photography but the only one that manages to pull them all together perfectly is PhotobizX. It’s full of so many incredible interviews that it can seem daunting knowing where to start.
This is where Andrew stands out. He handpicks the right episodes for you based on the content you are after.
He also communicates with listeners regularly on the members Facebook group and gives you access to the photographers in the podcast.
The content is great, covering all facets of the photography business.
Andrew also has a knack of asking the tough questions that glean that extra bit of info. There are some real gem episodes in here and a few of them have really helped me move my business forward.
No need to keep searching for that needle, it’s right here!
Thanks, Andrew. Steven Penman Photography.

I used to complain about Monday's…but now it's the best day of the week – podcast day!
An incredibly genuine and people-oriented approach to business + photography.
A huge cross-section of fantastic people in our industry that are willing to share the good the bad and sometimes the downright ugly in their interviews.
Every single episode is full of pieces of gold to implement into one's own business and remind us of why we do what we do.
Thanks Andrew for changing my blue Monday's into the best day of the week!
